Matt has been following the Columbus Crew since 2003, giving him more than two decades of memories, opinions, and way too many Crew stories. He helped found 4 The Crew to create the kind of show he wanted to hear: passionate, honest, and rooted in the experience of being a Crew fan.

He's especially passionate about Crew history, homegrown players, tactics and analytics, and the connection between the club and its supporters. He's also never afraid to question what he sees on the field.

Gabe

Gabe is one of the primary voices of 4 The Crew, bringing a goalkeeper's perspective and a deep passion for the club to every conversation. He's been following the Crew since the mid-2010s, and his experience between the posts gives him an eye for the details that can change a game.

His time living in Japan also sparked an appreciation for soccer beyond MLS. Whether he's breaking down a match, debating a player's performance, or digging into what the team needs next, Gabe brings plenty of personality and never shies away from a good debate.

Brian

Brian is a longtime Crew fan and former member of the Nordecke Drum Corps who brings a straight-shooting perspective to 4 The Crew. With three young kids keeping him busy, he may not be on every episode, but when he joins the conversation, he makes an impact.

Brian also plays a key role behind the scenes, helping set up and conduct interviews. He's just as likely to reinforce the conversation as he is to take it in a completely different direction.

Jay

Jay is the newest Crew fan on the 4 The Crew crew, getting into soccer in 2022 and discovering the Columbus Crew in 2025. He quickly went from a new fan to diving headfirst into the club, its history, supporter culture, and everything in between.

That fresh perspective gives him a unique way of looking at the team, especially when it comes to connecting with fans who are just discovering the sport or the Crew themselves.

Outside of the podcast, Jay runs his own channel exploring the history of soccer and has a growing passion for collecting soccer kits. He also helps with the show's video and audio editing behind the scenes.
